Our Story
Muddy Fingers began with a very simple and natural idea — to give a little creator a place to share what she loves making.
It all started with Aabha, a six-year-old who loves getting her hands into clay, colours and crafts. Pottery quickly became something she genuinely enjoyed, and one day she shared a little dream: when she grows up, she wants to open her own pottery studio.
As parents, that made us think — why does she have to wait until she grows up?
She may be only six, but the curiosity, imagination and excitement to create are already here. So instead of keeping her dream for “someday”, we decided to give it a small beginning today.
And that is how Muddy Fingers came to life.
Muddy Fingers is a space to showcase Aabha’s creations, encourage her ideas and let her experience what it feels like to build something of her own. It isn't about turning a childhood hobby into a business too soon. It is about giving a child the freedom and exposure to create, experiment, learn, share and dream bigger.
Today, her world goes beyond pottery. There are paints, plants, handmade crafts, little gifts and all kinds of creative experiments. Some things work beautifully, some get messy, and some turn out completely different from what she imagined. That is exactly what Muddy Fingers is meant to celebrate.
There is no expectation of perfection here. Every piece carries a little story — an idea imagined by a six-year-old, shaped by tiny hands and made with the happiness that comes from saying, “I made this.”
As parents, our role is simply to give her the space, materials, encouragement and opportunity to explore. Along the way, she gets to experience much more than art and craft — she can learn to communicate her ideas, value her work, meet people, understand how things are made and gradually discover what it means to turn an idea into something real.
Maybe one day Muddy Fingers will become the pottery studio Aabha dreams of opening.
Maybe it will grow into something completely different as her interests and imagination evolve.
For now, Muddy Fingers is her little creative world — started at six, with muddy hands, colourful ideas and a big dream.

Watching her mother create, exhibit and grow Sigee has inspired Aabha to showcase her own creations and experience the joy of building something of her own.
